My Favorite Fall Eyeshadow Palettes
Even though I have a couple of go-to palettes that I use year-round, when fall comes around I like to transition my eyeshadow palettes, too. In my mind, cool weather calls for adding some deeper, richer tones to my beauty routine.
I know I can’t be the only one with a few too many eyeshadow palettes stashed in their makeup drawer, right? But I went through my collection of palettes and pulled out a few that are perfect for fall. I’ve rounded up a few gorgeous eyeshadow palettes that are perfect for the cold weather season…plus a couple of great quads that are great for a traveling makeup bag.
I picked up this little palette during a sale, and I’m so glad I did. It has eight shimmery, rich pigmented shadows and you can use it to create multiple looks. I like to toss this one in my bag when I travel, too.
This is one of those palettes that would be really easy to wear year-round. I haven’t tried any product from PUR that I didn’t like quite yet, but I love this palette. The Soiree Diaries shadow formulas are smooth, pigmented, and blend beautifully.
I love that these colors are easy to wear every day, or easy to wear when you’re getting dressed up. One thing that makes this palette even more versatile is the mix of matte, satin, and shimmery shadows. They’re really fun to mix and match, and I really think these shadows would wear beautifully on different skin tones.
I love all of the Naked eyeshadow palettes, y’all. I have tried all of them, except for the Naked Heat palette because it’s SO warm. The original Naked palette is still my all-time favorite, to be honest. The Naked Smoky palette was released in 2015, and somehow I haven’t tried it until now. But I love this palette.
In general, I don’t wear black or gray eyeshadow, because it can be so tough to blend. I don’t have that problem with this palette! It has quickly become my go-to shadow for a more dramatic look and if I’m getting ready for a night out. This is the most easy-to-wear palette of smoky shades that I have ever tried out!
I know I’ll be using all these pretty palettes throughout the fall, and carrying them over into winter. All these shimmery shades will be easy to wear during the holidays, too. What is your favorite eyeshadow palette for fall? I’m always in the market for a new one to try!
Bonus: Two Super Affordable Eyeshadow Quads
This great little quad called Daring Damsel was on sale recently, and something made me grab it on the way to the register at Ulta. (You know how that goes.) These are always in my travel makeup bag now, because once I tried these shadows out on a recent trip, I wore them all weekend long. The pigments are really gorgeous, and easy to wear everyday or you can layer them for a more intense look. The burgundy and gold shadows in this quad mix beautifully and are perfect fall shades.
This quad from Physicians Formula’s Anniversary Collection is a pretty quad with two matte shades and two shimmery shades. I don’t typically choose to wear purple shadows, but these plum shades are a really great option. The rich plum colors in this quad are perfect for adding a little extra glam to your look for a night out. I haven’t tried this out yet, but you can also use these wet and I think the shimmery plum would be stunning as a liner!
