Last weekend, S & I found ourselves walking around downtown Athens in search of a good burger for our date night dinner. We’d talked about trying Clocked! when we first moved to town, but it had somehow dropped off our radar since then.
I ordered a burger topped off with a little pimiento cheese and their secret sauce. Like any good southern girl, I’m a sucker for good pimiento cheese, so this one was almost a no-brainer for me. S went for a big burger with peppers, secret sauce, and a fried egg on top. Clocked! certainly didn’t disappoint in the burger department, both were delicious and their secret sauce is perfectly sweet and a little bit spicy. Of course, we also ordered a side of cajun fries for him and a side of cajun tater tots for me.
So, I’d say that if you’re in the market for a good old fashioned hamburger and find yourself in downtown Athens, Clocked! is the place to go.
