On days when my husband comes home late after an extra-long day, he’s ready to eat and get some rest. I usually eat earlier on these days, so he gets his choice of food those nights, and like most men he is a meat and potatoes kind of guy. If at all possible, he wants to have a good, hearty meal that includes some kind of meat. We found Ball Park® Burgers at Publix on our last grocery run, and they’re perfect for him to enjoy when he needs a quick meal.
He’s a sucker for anything spicy, so when I told him I was going to whip up a quick burger for him, we knew it had to be something spicy. This Buffalo Blue Cheese Burger is so easy to whip up, you believe it. Pop a Ball Park® burger patty in the microwave, while you toast a pretzel bun in the oven. Then, pile a bit of fresh, crisp romaine lettuce and the patty on half of the bun. Drizzle a little (or a lot, in our case) of your favorite buffalo sauce on top, and add some crumbled blue cheese. That’s it! It only takes a couple of minutes to assemble this hearty dinner that your favorite guys will love!
Now, when we picked up the Ball Park® Flame Grilled Patties, we noticed that there are seven varieties of Ball Park® burgers available. My husband couldn’t resist the Hickory Smoked Bacon & White Cheddar Chicken Patties, so we went home with two bags.
He’s the ultimate guy, and has some serious “dude” eating habits…one of which is eating things for breakfast that are a little strange to me. Over the weekend, he came in from making his rounds at the hospital craving something specific: a breakfast burger.
I made this one open-faced, because it just doesn’t need as much bread, in my opinion. It’s crazy quick to put together, too! I mean, cooking the burger takes less time than frying an egg to top it! So here we go. Cook a couple of slices of bacon, your favorite way and start frying an egg. Stick a Hickory Smoked Bacon & White Cheddar Chicken patty in the microwave when your egg is almost done. Place a half hamburger bun on a plate, then add bacon, your chicken patty, avocado slices, and your fried egg. Top off your delicious breakfast burger with a big ol’ drizzle of sriracha.
Ball Park® burgers are perfect when your favorite guy needs a quick burger fix without the grill. They’re ready in just a minute! You can enter to win the Hall of Flame Sweepstakes just as quickly.
Think your man would enjoy these burgers? I’d love to hear your recipe ideas!
