I hate heavy makeup. Hate it. I’m all about wearing something light, airy, and natural-looking instead of a heavier foundation. So, when Luminess Air asked me to try out their Legend airbrush makeup system and Silk foundation, I jumped at the chance.
Airbrush makeup is great for building up your layers of makeup, as light or as heavy as you’d like, and it tends to help your skin stay healthier and fresher. While I’ve always been a little overwhelmed by the idea of an airbrush makeup system, this Luminess airbrush makeup system is compact (and cute), plus it’s much easier to use than you’d think! This is the smallest airbrush makeup system available, which I love because it’s the perfect size for travel.
Luminess Airbrush Make System Review
When my Legend system came in, I couldn’t wait to try it out. I dove right in, and looked through all of the goodies that are included: Legend Airbrush Compressor and Stylus, two bottles of foundation, one bottle of blush, one bottle of bronzer, one bottle of skin brightening glow, and one bottle of primer. After testing out a few shades, I found my perfect foundation color by mixing two drops of Shade 1 and one drop of Shade 2 (I spend a weekend in the sun, so I’m a little less pale than normal.)
The Legend system is so easy to master–after only a few minutes of testing it out, I figured out just the right way to work with it. As a contouring novice, I spent a little time playing around with the blush, bronzer, and highlighter, and it made for a much easier (and more natural-looking) contour. I’m very pale, so it’s easy to over-contour, but this system solves that issue for me. I love the light touch of this foundation, so I’d say if you’re looking to try out airbrush makeup, then definitely pick up a Luminess Air Legend System.
