If you’re following me on twitter, you know I’ve been toying with the notion of starting a book club-style linkup for a little while now. I’ve gotten down to about half of the books left of my current reading list and I’m always looking to add to it. I really want this to be a space for sharing your latest book review post or what you’re currently reading. I’d love to get some other perspectives on the books that I’ve been reading lately, wouldn’t you? Each month I’ll end my post with a list of suggested books for the next month and hopefully we can build this into a sort of unconventional book club. And since this is the first month–tell me, what would you like to see in next month’s What Are You Reading linkup?
I recently finished reading The Girl You Left Behind by Jojo Moyes. Having always been interested in historical fiction novels, this was a lovely choice. It’s a beautiful story, jumping from past to present and tied together through a painting that is the center of both story lines. You can read my full review here.
Next up for me is The Mockingbird Next Door by Marja Mills. I’m really looking forward to this one!
