If you remember this post, you’ll know I made the switch to clean deodorant a while back. And I’ll say this again: I have tried SO many different clean & natural deodorants. Seriously. SO MANY. And since that first post, I have added a few more to my list! Since my list has gotten longer, I thought it might be time to update you on the ones that I’ve tried since then!
So, here are a few more clean deodorants that I tested out:

My Favorite Clean Deodorants
Type A
I absolutely love the applicator and packaging for this deodorant. It’s really convenient and so unique! The texture and scent of both of Type A’s deodorants that I tried are really nice (one was a fresh scent and the other was unscented). The actual deodorant cream is really, really smooth. Unfortunately, this one just didn’t work for me at all. It’s hard to explain, but it felt like I didn’t have anything on…even immediately after I applied it. The packaging and applicator are really great on Type A’s deodorants, but personally this is not one that I would purchase in the future (though it may work for you, we’re all different!)
Ursa Major
This is another one that didn’t make the top three overall. The Hoppin’ Fresh scent is nice and light and the deodorant itself is a “clear solid,” which I’ve always been a fan of. Unfortunately the Ursa Major deodorants didn’t have a lot of staying power. I found myself feeling the need to reapply this one multiple times throughout the day…and even more if I was at all active outside of walking up and down the stairs to my office.
Soapwalla Citrus Deodorant Cream
I really didn’t think that I would like this one, to be completely honest. When I ordered it, I had read some good reviews of it and thought I should give it a try. Now that I’ve used nearly the entire tub, I can say that this is definitely one of my top three overall. I love the fresh, citrus scent of it, and I’ve gotten used to applying it with my hands now that I’ve been using it for a while. And it really lasts a long time for such a small tub! My one issue with this one is that it really can get on your clothes even if you wait a little bit after applying. As someone who wears a lot of dark colors, that has been a little bit of a struggle for me to deal with. But otherwise, I really like this one! I think I’ll even re-purchase it in another scent once I clean out this one!
Primally Pure Lemongrass
I absolutely loved this clean deodorant. The lemongrass scent is really nice and it has great staying power! Another plus? I didn’t notice any issues with this one getting on my clothes and it stuck with me through hot yoga and late summer, too. Once I used up the Lemongrass, I immediately repurchased (and I also tried out their Blue Tansy deodorant. The Lemongrass still landed in the top spot for me, though I did use up the Blue Tansy one, too! If you’re still searching for a great clean deodorant, I highly recommend you give Primally Pure a try. They even offer two different sizes, so you can try out their smaller tube to see if you love it before you go for the larger one!
