‘Tis the season for finding the best red lipstick for the holidays (and beyond). When I was younger, I refused to wear lipstick most of the time but if I was going to wear it, that lipstick would be red. For this very reason, I’ve tried out tons of different reds and picked a few of my favorites for the holidays and every day.
Dark & Dramatic:
is the one I’ve been wearing a lot lately. This dark, vampy red is perfect for the winter and adding a little extra drama to your look.
Warm & Versatile:
I recently received this (c/o Influenster) and while it looks a little more orange in the tube, it goes on in a gorgeous red shade. I’ll be wearing this one year-round, it’s just that good!
Sheer for Everyday:
If you’re in the market for a little less drama, but still want to wear red, pick up a tube of . The original F-Bomb is a gorgeous, highly pigmented red, and this glossy version is perfect to wear every day.
Long Lasting & Affordable:
This one can be a little hard to find, but grab it when you find it! is an affordable, long-wearing red that’s just right for the holidays. In fact, I picked up my first tube of it around this time last year!
Classic, Glossy Red:
I’m a huge fan of NYX Butter Gloss, but I had no idea that they had an “intense” version. I grabbed an last time I took a trip to Ulta and it’s a gorgeous glossy red. While this one isn’t the longest-wearing, it’s such a great color and SO affordable!
Perfect for the Holidays:
You know when you go to checkout and there’s always a bunch of neat stuff to look at while you’re in line? That’s where I found this . I love their lipsticks, and the red + gold combination seemed absolutely perfect for the holiday season. The gold seems a little intense on it’s own, I know. When you combine it with the cherry red, it’s perfectly fun & festive!
