Look, I don’t consider myself to be a fashion blogger in any way, shape, or form…but I do have a suggestion for your Thanksgiving outfit. This year, we’ll be doing something completely different on Thanksgiving day, so I won’t need to plan an outfit that includes my absolute stretchiest pants. And if I’m being completely honest, this is something I’d wear any day during the fall and winter.
Have you guessed what I’m going to say yet?

The Best Thing to Wear on Thanksgiving
Well, if you guessed that it’s an oversized sweater, then you’d be right. Here’s the thing: I’m pretty much going to grab a big ol’ cozy sweater anyway, but on Thanksgiving they are right on the top of my list for what I’m wearing. In an everyday setting, when I’m just going to be working from my desk or heading to teach at the yoga studio, I’ll just wear them with my favorite yoga pants. *Hint: that’s an easy way to make your workout clothes look a little more put together.
When it comes to something like Thanksgiving dinner, I’ll absolutely be grabbing my oversized sweater (all the more room for all that good food, ya know?) Instead of yoga pants, but still sticking with the stretchy pants, pair it with a pair of these blue jean leggings. They’re SO comfortable and give you a little more put together look than yoga pants would for Thanksgiving dinner.
Oh, you need a little more dressy look than jeans? Grab a pair of these faux leather leggings and that same oversized sweater. Add a dressier pair of booties and you’ve got a dressed-up-but-still-comfy outfit for Thanksgiving dinner.
How would you wear an oversized sweater on Thanksgiving? Everyone’s celebrations are so different! So, you could be super casual in a sweater and yoga pants, or in-between with jeggings, or more dressed up with faux leather. Don’t you love versatility?
