I love to gift people with food—I always have. Around the holidays, I have a blast making treats for friends, family, and coworkers, so it’s always fun to try out a new recipe. I picked up the cutest little “Merry Christmas” cookie stamp a few weeks ago, and I’ve been dying to test it out with a fun recipe, so I headed over to the Betty Crocker website. I found a simple recipe for cutout cookies using their sugar cookie dough mix, so I grabbed a bag of it on my last grocery trip, so that I could give these a try.
Obviously, it’s cookie season from here on out, and I’ll be making this recipe again…and I’m obsessed with the result from my cookie stamp. How cute are these?
Since we don’t need to be snacking on cookies every day, I packed these up in a bright Ziploc holiday container, and tied it all together with a bow to send off to the office with S. I think he probably snuck a few before giving them away. How easy is that for a festive holiday treat? They’d be perfect for a cookie swap, too. I picked up a few packs of these festive containers to have on hand throughout the holidays for leftovers and gifts—you never know when you might need one!
Cookie Season
In honor of cookie season, and all the fun things going on over here (there are even some coupons!) during the Christmas season, I wanted to give you a chance to win a little paypal cash, so that you can pick up your some cookie dough mix and holiday containers to pack up all those Christmas cookies!
