Anyone else remember when velvet was in style in the 90s? All I remember was that I hated it then, but when it came back in full force this fall I thought I’d try it out. When I finally found this affordable black velvet blazer, I knew it was the perfect piece for me to dip my toe into the velvet trend. I finally got the chance to wear it over the weekend when we went to the Georgia Theater to see Jason Isbell. Turns out a cute, but basic, tee and a velvet blazer makes a perfect look for concert-going in the early winter. While it’s finally cold outside (to a Southerner at least), no one wants to have to keep up with a coat in a sold out theater.
