I’m not really a “New Years Resolution” person. I don’t make a goal for myself at the beginning of each year, though I’m not against anyone doing so. But at the end of last year I started feeling a little like I was trying too hard to fit into the mold of a “blogger.” So I talked and talked with my best blogger friend, and I’m planning to make a few little changes around here. Starting with being sure my style posts feel more like me, and less like I’m doing it a certain way because that’s what bloggers do. I have to say, we’re a little over a week in and it’s already making style posts a lot more fun to work on!

I grabbed this dress in multiple colors right before Thanksgiving and I wear them all the time. They’re so, so comfortable and really versatile for everyday wear. I throw mine on with scarves a lot these days——especially since Georgia’s weather can’t choose one season. I know I talked bad about this blanket scarf that EVERYONE has, but I have one too. I don’t generally like to wear blanket scarves wrapped around my neck, there’s always way too much fabric and I really feel ridiculous. This scarf is HUGE, so I don’t wear it much, but it is perfect for wrapping up like this for a walk downtown. If I’m being honest, I’ve been wearing these boots most days since I bought them and they are super comfy, especially if the rest of your boots are heeled (oops).
This is possibly my favorite outfit I’ve styled, for no other reason than it’s super comfortable…and totally me. I can’t wait to see what 2016 brings, and definitely be on the lookout for some new things going on around here. I’ve got some ideas and I can’t wait to share them with all of you.
