Bluegrass Brunch at MOJO Kitchen & Lounge
Places like Asheville are filled to the brim with art and music. One of our favorite experiences from our recent trip to the mountains, is the Bluegrass Brunch on Sunday morning at Mojo Kitchen & Lounge. There are tons of great places to grab brunch in Asheville, but the experience here just can’t be beat. This little venue, restaurant, and bar is nestled just below the Asheville Music Hall, and is the perfect location for some laid-back music listening. We showed up at Mojo around 11:30, ordered our bluegrass brunch, and grabbed a table right up front near the music.
We settled in with a couple of cups of coffee and a couple of spicy Bloody Marys to listen to a couple of local acts play some really good bluegrass music while we chowed down on some good, southern food. The Bald Mountain Boys kicked things off, followed by their regular Bluegrass Brunch Host, Aaron “Woody” Wood.
If you’re looking for a hearty brunch and great music on a weekend in Asheville, this Bluegrass Brunch is perfect for you. (I know we’ll be making our way back for another Sunday brunch the next time we’re in town.)
