A few years ago, I gave up soft drinks…mostly because I only drank diet sodas. Those just aren’t the best for you, and to be honest I really didn’t miss anything except the bubbles!

It’s just so satisfying to have a fruity, sparkling water that is all-natural, no calories, and no sodium. We always try to keep a bunch of sparkling water on hand at our house (I like mix them up and make all kinds of different drinks). The last time our stash ran out, it was straight to WalMart to stock up on Mandarin Orange, Original, and Lemon-Lime sparkling water the first chance we got!
When I was a little girl, my mom and grandmother would make me a mixture of orange juice and lemon-lime soda in the mornings. I loved it, for some reason. So when I’m in the mood for a fresh and fruity drink with my breakfast, I grab a can of Canada Dry Mandarin Orange Sparkling Seltzer Water and my favorite juice. It’s a perfect fizzy companion to most anything you’d have for breakfast and oh-so-easy. Just mix equal parts juice and sparkling water and garnish it with some fresh fruit! My favorite summer mixture is Canada Dry Mandarin Orange and Orange + Mango Juice — a sparkling juice with tropical flair!
I work from home, so after breakfast I head straight up to my office and spend most of the day there. Sometimes I find myself, mid-afternoon in need a tiny jolt of caffeine to help my power through the rest of the work day. I love green tea, its health benefits, and that little bit of caffeine, too.
Once I’ve powered through the rest of the work day, it’s time to unwind. Especially in the summer, it’s so refreshing to relaxing on the patio with a cold glass of wine. To make amp up my “night cap,” sometimes I turn it into a quick sparkling peach sangria. The peaches give it a fruity freshness, and also keep your drink cold. Does it get better on a hot summer night?
