Keeping it casual for a fun date is the best way to celebrate Valentine’s Day, in my opinion. We tend to grab a quick dinner (or even just cook together) on Valentine’s Day, having never big been on celebrating this particular holiday. So, when I came across this little raglan sweatshirt I just knew it would be the perfect think to throw on for a comfy & casual V-Day date.
(The message written across this top is one that I think is so important to understand, especially leading up to a holiday that makes so many feel so alone: You are Beloved.)

Y’all, I snagged this pretty blush bag from TJ Maxx over the weekend, and I am in love. Blush has been a big player in neutral looks this winter and I didn’t realize that I needed to pull it into my wardrobe. It doesn’t hurt that it adds a tiny pop of pink and a little Valentine’s Day flair to my otherwise everyday look. (Not to mention it’s pretty spot on with one of the 2016 colors of the year: rose quartz.) All the heart eyes, people. I have a feeling we’re going to see a whole lot of this little lady.
So tell me: do you keep it casual for Valentine’s Day or is it a big deal at your house?
