Chokers have been trending for a little while now (I mean, aside from when they were everywhere in the 90’s), but I can not deal with having a necklace that tight around my neck. I’m not saying it definitely gives me anxiety, but it makes me feel really uncomfortable. BUT this comfy choker tee is something I can totally get behind. It’s super soft and comfy, but really fun to style for a night out. Full disclosure: I did go up a size so that I could knot it…and because I was afraid the ‘choker’ would feel tight.
This is the kind of thing I’d wear for a night out downtown–maybe to a concert. The choker tee trend is a fun way to put together a slightly more edgy, but still laid back look. While I tend to stick to flats the majority of the time, this look would be really fun dressed up with a good pair of booties or block heels, don’t you think?
Last weekend we got to see Maren Morris play and it was such a fun show–and her voice is killer live! I definitely wore this monogrammed belt bag [c/o] so that I didn’t have to carry a one of my bigger bags in the sold-out theatre. (Ok, belt bags might also my go-to for trips to places like Disney World or Universal Studios.) It’s like a trendy fanny pack–useful but also super cute.
