With the start of 2017 comes lots of gray, rainy weather and resolutions to get healthy and get back in the gym. While I’m not a resolution-maker, I did use the first part of the month to start getting back into my regular gym routine. That cold, gray weather makes it heard to leave the warmth of the house, so I’ve been searching for a piece or two of cozy workout wear. This jacket is seriously soft and perfect for keeping warm on the way to and from the gym.
But really, most days you’ll find me wearing something similar to this throughout the work day. Unless I’m headed out to meet a friend for lunch or coffee, I’m one of those people that pretty much wears fitness clothes every day. It doesn’t hurt that it gives me a little extra push to go to the gym (or get a workout in at home) if I’m already wearing my workout wear for the day. And sometimes on the weekend this is what I wear when we decide to go grab a late lunch at our favorite pizza spot.

Speaking of workout wear, what’s your favorite way to work out? Spinning and boxing are two of my favorite classes at the gym, but I’m planning to try one or two new ones. I noticed that my gym added a HIIT class that I can’t wait to check out. (If you’re a fan of HIIT, I want to hear about it!) I’ve found myself getting back into yoga to stretch out my sore muscles in the mornings, too.
