We had about a week of perfect, fall weather here that had me convinced that it might stick around. Of course it didn’t, but I couldn’t resist breaking out this fun little dress and a pair of booties for a little while this weekend. It’s so comfy, and I love the mix of fantastic autumn shades in the pattern. Once it’s cold, it’ll be so much fun to throw on with a pair of tights and my favorite felt hat.

By the way, how cute is this fab backpack? I knew it would be perfect to carry on our anniversary trip next month (Disney World, here we come!), but it was so perfect with this dress that I had to give it a whirl this weekend. It’s not too big, but has plenty of space for carrying my camera, phone, wallet, and pretty much anything else I’ll need for a day of wandering. I could even fit my laptop in it on days when I need to get out of the house during the work day. It’s the grown-up backpack I didn’t know I needed!
