Easter weekend is here, and I don’t know about you but I always stock up on mini Cadbury Eggs early in the season. This year, I accidentally added a HUGE bag to my grocery order (I really thought I was getting a regular bag.) Since I’m fully stocked on them, I thought they might be fun to turn into Easter Egg Cookies.
Obviously, this year we aren’t visiting family for Easter, so we’ll just be eating all these cute little cookies ourselves. But I am turning 32 today, so I feel like these are a good treat to have at home and celebrate with, right? It makes a big batch for just the two of us, but…when in “quarantine” (or whatever).
Easy Easter Egg Cookies
Ok, so these easter egg cookies taste a little like sugar cookies…but with a little crunch from the Cadbury eggs. Oh, and chocolate. Chocolate makes everything better, right? I haven’t done it yet, but I think they’d also go really well with a good cup of coffee. (If I say that about every dessert that I ever share, I’m sorry. I just really like coffee.)
Are there any sweets that you always make around Easter? These might become a new tradition for me. They turned out so simple and cute!
