Over the weekend, my lovely friends and fellow Birmingham Bloggers co-founders, Beth and Meredith, came to Athens for a little girls’ trip. We explored downtown Athens and tried out a few restaurants, two of which I hadn’t been to so far. Oddly, this one was the last one that we checked out, but it’s ok if I do this backwards, right? Sunday morning, the three of us met up with Jennifer and Elizabeth to try out the Biscuit Brunch at The Pine. I ordered the Pulled Pork and Egg Biscuit and we all ordered a side of Pimiento Cheese Grits (and of course, there were Mimosas) and I have to say, it was pretty delicious. I’ll definitely be heading back to The Pine for another weekend brunch soon.
