Cinnaholic Vegan Cinnamon Rolls
Last week I was invited to stop by and check out the new Cinnaholic in downtown Athens. Talk about a serious treat, y’all. Cinnaholic is a vegan bakery that specializes in gourmet cinnamon rolls. You can pick something from their delectable menu, or you can build your own. I chose to make my own, since I’m not a big fan of a classic cinnamon roll. My cinnamon roll masterpiece included chocolate icing, alice almonds, and graham crackers…oh, and they’re served warm. Absolute heaven. And this coming from someone who doesn’t like cinnamon rolls! My husband is a cinnamon roll lover, so I took one to his office that was a little more intense than mine: salted caramel, pretzels, and brownie crumbles. He gave it his stamp of approval.
While the Cinnaholic specialty is their gourmet cinnamon rolls, they also make killer cookies, brownies, and edible cookie dough. And it’s all vegan! You would never guess that from their rich sweets. By the way, the cookies are baked in the best way: gooey in the middle. All of their sweets pair perfectly with a hot cup of coffee.
I’m sure we’ll be making our way back down to Cinnaholic sometime soon to try another cinnamon roll. Personally, I’m thinking that I might need to try one of the spring seasonal flavors. Mango icing? Yes, please.
If you’re a cinnamon roll lover, what flavors would you try?
