One of our favorite spots to go for casual dinner date is a little place called Taqueria Tsunami that opened up fairly recently downtown. There’s a second location in town, but the food is always better at the downtown location! It’s a Latin-Asian kitchen, which might sound a bit odd, but they’ve got some really stellar tacos. I almost always pick the taco trio and tend to order a Pacific Rim Taco, Tempura Shrimp Taco, and a side of yucca.
If you’re really hungry, order a couple of their appetizers——the avocado eggs rolls are a favorite of ours. Their fresh guacamole is really tasty, too. We’re both big fans of their Sriracha Bloody Mary if we happen to stop by for an early lunch on a Saturday. We tend to stick to the taco trio (or the quatro for the hubs), but they also offer all kinds of other things, like salads and fusion bowls that we have yet to try.
