What better way is there to kick off your weekend, other than with coffee and waffles? I was traveling back to my hometown this weekend, so a stop in Birmingham to check out Feast & Forest was a must. Plus, I got to meet up with Beth and Meredith to talk blogging and catch up.
We all quickly ordered the waffles after a quick look at the menu; Beth and I got sweet while Meredith got savory. I’m telling you, those fluffy waffles topped with bacon & pecans, then drizzled with warm maple syrup made a delicious brunch treat. There are definitely a few more things on their menu that I’m dying to try (hello, Breakfast Bowl), so I know I’ll be making another stop when I’m in town again.
I knew going into things that Feast & Forest would be a fantastic space with stunning lighting…and so perfectly fitted to Birmingham. One of the owners is the lady behind The Nest, and there’s no way she wouldn’t have picked just the right space for Feast & Forest.
