Has it felt like November where you are? We got another couple of cool days last week, but the warm weather is trying it’s hardest to stick around. This striped swing dress has been one of my favorite things to throw on while the weather is being ornery—when it was cool last week, I threw on a loose-fitting ivory sweater vest for a little extra warmth. It’s definitely going to stick around throughout the fall (and winter, too!) with the addition of tights when it gets really cold. Pieces that stick around sure are my favorites to pick up, especially when they’re as affordable as this one was!

I’m hoping that the next time we head to a State game, it’ll be just crisp enough to wear this outfit during the day, with the addition of this comfy little vest when the sun goes down. Of course, you’ll probably see me carrying my favorite Tervis tumbler, too. It’ll most likely be filled with good coffee, and if it’s warmer, an iced one. You can’t beat a double-walled tumbler that’ll keep your coffee hot and your hands cool while you wander around on game day.
