Fresh off a weekend in Orlando and celebrating Halloween a little early, I thought it might be time to start thinking about fun Halloween things! Everyone loves a good koozie, who really knows why? So, why not turn a plain, old koozie into a candy-filled Jack-O-Lantern? This fun, Halloween DIY makes a great treat to hand out as a favor at your Halloween party. Just head to the craft store and grab a few orange koozies, a paint marker, ribbon, and cellophane bags. On your way back, make sure to stop by Target and pick up some Halloween candies–I snagged some DOVE Milk Chocolate Ghosts, M&M’S Boo-tterscotch White Chocolate, and Starburst Halloween Mix to fill my Jack-O-Lantern “Boo”-zies.
Here’s what you do:
- Using your paint marker, draw a few different Jack-O-Lantern faces on your foam koozies and let it dry.
- Fill each koozie with a mix of the candies.
- Drop each koozie, and a little bit of extra candy, into a cellophane bag.
- Tie up the cellophane bag with a piece of fun Halloween ribbon and you’ve got yourself a “boo”-zie. (I laughed.)
By the way, before you head to Target, head right here and snag this Cartweel offer for a great deal on your MARS Halloween candy! DOVE Milk Chocolate Ghosts and M&M’S Boo-tterscotch White Chocolate are exclusively available at Target this Halloween, too.
