Is it Monday already? We spent our weekend at Suntrust Park watching the Braves play the Marlins, spending time with family, and with our noses in books. (He was reading and I’m in the middle of.) There’s nothing like a lazy Sunday to help you get ready for a new week.
I don’t know what it is about summer, but I tend to lean toward extra casual looks this time of year. Maybe it’s the heat. I mean, y’all know I don’t like the heat. I’m a fall & winter gal. So when we make plans to spend a summer day downtown, I just throw on a loose tee and comfy denim with a fun pair of sneakers and head out the door. Honestly, I have a little bit of a sneaker addiction these days and I can’t get enough of this pair of …I mean, how cute are they?
When it comes to personal style, my husband and I are a good bit different. I’m most likely to be wearing something black with dark denim, while he’ll be in pale blues and khakis. (I can’t complain, he looks good in blue.) One thing we share when it comes to style, though, is an appreciation for a good pair of sneakers. Lucky for us, the athleisure trend still going strong and all of our favorite pairs are going to get plenty of wear.
*Oh, and he’s been in photos on here before…but if you didn’t know, my husband is more than a foot taller than me.
