We didn’t really make big plans for Memorial Day weekend, but knew that we wanted to kick off summer somewhere outdoors. Sunday afternoon we went out to a bonfire that some friends were hosting and while there we were invited to spend Monday at the lake in North Georgia. At the last minute, we decided that we couldn’t miss out. We met a small group of friends and spent the day skipping rocks at the bottom of a small waterfall, paddle boarding, and lying on the little “beach.” It was the perfect way to end a long weekend, plus the husband was kind enough to let me take a few pictures of him. He’s even learning how to work my DSLR so he can be my full-time blog photographer. The sun was behind the clouds for the majority of the day, and the rain didn’t start until late in the afternoon, which gave us plenty of time to enjoy ourselves and the perfect time to start driving back home. How did you spend your holiday weekend?
