When we were house-hunting before our wedding, one of my favorite things to see was a big, garden tub in the master bathroom, perfect for reading in a hot bath. Luckily, the house we fell in love with came with just that. I found out about the LUSH Cosmetics at Lenox Square Mall in Atlanta, so naturally every time I’m nearby, I have to stop in and pick up a few favorites. We happened to be nearby last Friday night, and I made it in just before they closed and picked up their Great Balls of Bicarb bath bomb gift and a couple of their fabulous face masks.
Obviously I already got into the bath bombs and used my all-time favorite Avo-Bath, which I mixed with their Green Bubbleroon (try that, it’s heaven). The bath bomb gift also includes their Twilight, Dragon’s Egg, Sex Bomb, and Big Blue bath bombs. They all smell so, so good, and the Dragon’s Egg is currently my second favorite after the Avo-Bath. If you’re thinking about picking a few up, they say the Great Balls of Bicarb gift includes all of their best-selling bath bombs…plus it saves you a few dollars over buying them individually and they come packaged nicely.
LUSH masks are the best. The last time I went by LUSH, I grabbed their Love Lettuce mask, which was a little drying for my face. This time I opted for the Cupcake and the Catastrophe Cosmetic. Cupcake was recommended to me by multiple friends, and it’s a nice little treat that smells like chocolate and mint. The girl who was helping me in the shop recommended Catastrophe Cosmetic, and told me it was sort of like a blueberry muffin for your face. This one may be my favorite mask that I’ve tried, it doesn’t dry your skin and feels really refreshing.
Do you have any bath and beauty favorites from LUSH (or anywhere else)? I’d love to hear what your go-to’s are.
