Mint & Chocolate are a match made in smoothie heaven…
I love a good smoothie, whether it’s this one that I like to have for breakfast or a mid-afternoon snack. My sweet tooth kicks in around three o’clock, while I’m working. Anyone else get a sugar craving around that time? I mean, obviously I keep a stash of chocolate in the house because sometimes you just have to have it. But lately I’ve been trying to skip grabbing a piece of candy and mix up a sweet smoothie instead. Since it’s been so warm for the last couple of weeks, a smoothie has been the perfect afternoon snack…and this easy mint chocolate smoothie does a pretty good job satisfying my sweet tooth!
Oh, and HUM Nutrition was kind enough to send me some of their supplements to try out. I’ve been adding a scoop of this Raw Beauty Superfood Powder (c/o) to my mint chocolate smoothie for a little extra “good stuff” in my afternoon snack. The Mint Chocolate Chip Infusion flavor is a great addition to my sweet afternoon snack, but I’m kind of hoping they’ll eventually release a more neutral flavor. I’d love an unflavored one or something like vanilla that I could include in much any flavor smoothie that I’m making!
