It’s back to reality today after a weekend making new friends and talking blogs & business in Charleston. Of course, it wasn’t all work, we found all kinds of good food and did a good bit of wandering around the city while we were there—I can’t wait to share a little more about it in the next couple of weeks! It was a much needed refresher and a whole lot of fun, but it sure was nice to wake up in my own bed this morning.
Before I headed off to Charleston, my husband and I made a quick trip downtown for dinner at our favorite little pub before the college students came back into town. I threw on this comfy skirt and tee, and we were out the door. I’m not sure I’m quite tall enough for a midi skirt, but this dark, floral skirt is going to transition so perfectly into fall that I decided to give it a try. Paired with a well-loved basic tee, it makes a comfy look for a last minute dinner. As you can see from the title of this post, my first thought when I saw these pictures was that I look like that kind-of-nerdy friend that would work in a library. But I decided that I’m ok with it, especially since I love libraries. It was a rainy weekend and the pictures are a little bit moodier than my usual images, but it’s kind of fun to change things up sometimes.
