Spicy Baked Brie with Toasted Pecans
  1. Preheat the oven to 400.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheet large enough to fully cover the brie wheel.
  3. (Optional) Scrape the rind from the top of the brie. I like to do this because it helps the toppings sing right into the melted cheese.
  4. Spread the pepper jelly evenly on the top of the brie, then top it with the toasted pecans.
  5. Cover with the rolled puff pastry, then flip everything over keep a hand or a plate under the brie to keep all those toppings in there.
  6. Wrap the puff pastry securely around the brie wheel, and brush with an egg wash to help it all stick.
  7. Place the pastry-wrapped brie seam-side down on a foil-lined cookie sheet and brush the whole thing in a little egg wash.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes. Let it cool for a few minutes, and then dig in!
Recipe Notes

*My personal favorite way to serve this brie is with sliced apples, but some people prefer crackers. You can serve it with any of your favorites!
