Mint Sugar Cookies
A perfect cut-out sugar cookie recipe with just a hint of mint.
Cream of Tartar
1 – 1 1/2
Cream together softened butter, shortening, and sugar.
Add eggs, baking soda, cream of tartar, vanilla extract, and peppermint extract.
Add flour a little at a time.
Once dough is formed, wrap it in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Roll out dough on a floured surface and cut into desired shapes (stars if you’re making Christmas trees).
Bake at 400 degrees for 6-8 minutes.
