Peppermint Madeleines
A festive, minty version of a classic French madeleine. Perfect for a treat at home or for taking to a Christmas party!
  1. Preheat your oven to 350.
  2. Mix together sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, peppermint extract, and butter until combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour and baking powder.
  4. Combine the two mixtures, blending well with an electric mixer.
  5. Spoon the batter into each well of a madeleine pan.
  6. Bake for 8-9 minutes, promptly removing from the pan and onto a cooling rack.
  7. Cool completely before serving.
  8. (Optional) Drizzle with glaze and sprinkle with crushed soft peppermints.

1 tsp Vanilla Extract
3 Tbsp Milk
