Every so often, I start to think about whether or not it’s too soon to start using anti-aging treatments on my skin…but I never really think about anti-aging for hair, do you? Roux Haircare recently came out with an anti-aging line and I had the chance to give it a whirl and see what it can do. The Roux line is sulfate-free, which I’ve been trying to stick to for a couple of years now. It’s also pretty affordable, running about $10 per bottle at Sally Beauty Supply. Plus it’s full of all kinds of good hair stuff including keratin, vitamins A and E, & biotin.
Last year, while I was trying to make sure my hair was the way I wanted it to be for our wedding, I learned from my hairdresser back in Birmingham that my hair was seriously dry. Roux’s anti-aging line definitely put the moisture back into my hair, which is one of the things that I really need to come out of my haircare regimen. My only issue with the line is that I can’t use it every day. While my hair can be dry, it is extremely fine it feels really weighted down and heavy when I use the line every day.
