Kat Von D Tattoo Liner:
L’oreal Voluminous Liner Noir:
Both:
Most of the time, you won’t see me around town without my eyeliner. Since I started wearing makeup, I’ve been an eye makeup girl, so you know I jumped on the cat eye trend a while back. I’ve tried so many different liners, and I finally came up with the best eyeliner…or the best eyeliner in my opinion.
I’ve been using for a couple of years now, and I absolutely love it. It’s easy to use, pigmented, and practically lasts forever. The price tag is totally worth it for the quality of the liner and the crisp line you can get so easily with this one. But this summer, L’oreal released their and I snagged one at The Blog Societies Conference to try out.
Both liners have very similar brushes, while the ‘s brush is slightly shorter and has a little more give. It took me a second to get a feel for the tougher brush on the . Once I got the hang of things, it was just as quick for me as the .
All in all, this is a budget liner that really packs a punch. I might even say that this gives the a run for it’s money, so to speak. As you can see in the images, I easily got a similar result with each of the two liners. Honestly, I did put an extra coat of the to get the deep, dark line that I like. While I can’t speak for the longevity of the , it’s a great quality liner for less than half the price.
Am I telling you that either of these is the best eyeliner? Nah. Both of these liners are easy to use and stay on throughout the day. For me, I’ll probably stick with , but I’m interested to see how long my lasts. Have you tried either of these? If so, what did you think?
