If you follow me on Instagram, I’m sure you noticed that a couple of weeks ago, I happily attended the second annual Southern Blog Society Conference for Coffee Talk. What an event! Jessica and Cathy couldn’t have made it more fun! We heard from a few excellent speakers, followed by networking time and chatting with some fab brands including ASOS, Dressup, Kendra Scott, Pla Beauty, Dermalogica, and Intimacy. It was such an experience to be in the room with so many like-minded people and be able to chat about blogging unapologetically for a couple of hours. This year I only attended the Coffee Talk session, but I’m so hoping to be able to attend the full weekend next year–fingers crossed that I’ll be an attendee again!
We all went home with the sweetest notebook from Tinyprints (perfect for taking notes during the panel) and lots of other goodies. Seriously, with the swag bags, y’all. The author, Amy, was one of our speakers and gave us all one of the best pieces of advice from the event…and it was to just be lovely.
