I’ve been waiting for a blustery fall day to break out this slouchy white sweater that I snagged on sale. I ordered a size too big, so it’s extra baggy and oh-so-comfy for a casual day—especially while the seasons are changing. In Georgia it takes a while for the cool & crisp temperatures to actually set in, so a thinner, slouchy sweater is a closet staple for early fall.

This weekend was spent visiting my sister and her husband, wandering around Lowe Mill in Huntsville, AL, and shooting a few maternity pictures before my new little niece arrives early next month. A stop by Piper & Leaf for some hot Orchard Peach tea was necessary after walking around in the misty, cold rain. We may or may not have stopped to grab a couple of perfect pumpkins to decorate our stoop while we were traveling, too. Somehow, I even made it through the day without dropping anything on my white sweater. (I even cooked a pot of quick chili in it, so this is really an accomplishment for me!)
Normally, I wouldn’t choose to wear white for a day of wandering and pumpkin-picking (or at all), but I’m seriously loving how comfy this thing is. I feel like it’s going to be making a quite few more appearances throughout the fall. Is a slouchy white sweater a staple in your fall wardrobe?
