I know we’re nearing the end of summer, but it’s going to be hot around here for at least a couple more months. Now, I don’t know about you, but I find myself craving something ice cold and citrusy during the summer. Recently, I tried Santa Cruz Organic Lemonade and it is SO good and not too sweet. Lemon is one of my favorite flavors, if I’m being completely honest. Plus, it’s been a while since I put together a new cocktail recipe, right? RIGHT. And what I came up with is a really simple Ginger Lemonade recipe. It’s really refreshing and just a little bit different.
Normally, I don’t like ginger very much, but I recently tried a lemon ginger kombucha that I really enjoyed. And that was where I got my flavor inspiration for this Spiked Ginger Lemonade recipe, after noticing that there is also such a thing as ginger juice! Did you know? I did not, but there it was: Santa Cruz Organic 100% Ginger Juice. I mean, I had to try it. The result was this refreshing spiked ginger lemonade with a little bite from the ginger. I think it’s really a fun summer cocktail!
Plus, it’s oh-so-easy and can easily be made as a mocktail, too. Yay for versatility! It only needs a few ingredients: Santa Cruz Organic Lemonade, Santa Cruz Organic 100% Ginger Juice, fresh lemon, and your vodka of choice.
Easy peasy lemon squeezy (see what I did there?) Check out the recipe & let me know what you think!
