A couple of weekends ago, I went on a little girls’ weekend trip to Savannah, GA with two of my oldest friends. We stocked up on pralines and ate a couple of good southern meals, then ended our weekend by wandering around the grounds at Wormsloe. You never know what to expect during the winter in Georgia, so this look was a little bit of a thrown together thing that I ended up really liking. I had thrown this little striped shift dress after I picked it up for a steal the week before I went out of town. (It’s still on sale, by the way!) While there was a chill in the air, it certainly wasn’t quite cold, so I paired it with a fun trench vest and ankle boots since we’d be doing a good bit of walking during the day.
By the way, Wormsloe is really an interesting historic site to visit for the afternoon, plus you enter the grounds through a canopy of live oaks covered in Spanish moss. Even in the middle of winter that’s a pretty sight to see–be still my southern heart!
What I’m Wearing
