My Go-To Date Night Dress for Summer
I’m someone who will tell you on any given day that summer is my least favorite season of the year. And most of the summer, you’ll find me in my most comfortable workout clothes. When I’m getting dressed for a dinner date night in the summer, there’s a lot fewer options in my closet than in the fall. But if I’ve got to get a little more dressed up, it’s all dresses in the summertime. Easy and breezy (and honestly probably all black, but I just can’t help it.) Luckily, right before we left for our family vacation in Orange Beach, I came across this maxi that is the perfect summer date night dress.
I saw it first in white, which is not something I can really pull off, then all the way in the back…there it was in black! If I’ve got to get dressed up when it’s 95 degrees outside, it’s GOT to be in something breezy. The first time I wore it was out to dinner by the water at the beach. It was the perfect weight to wear to dinner—even sitting at an outdoor table in the summer heat!
What I Wore
This dress is only $30 and totally worth it, in my opinion. I’ll be wearing it SO often through the rest of the summer. (Around here, it’s not even the hottest time of the year quite yet.) Fall decor is popping up everywhere and I’m counting down until I can unpack my sweaters, but for summer this dress is perfect for date night.
