Well, we’re already halfway through June, but here I am posting this list anyway. A lot of summer reading happens at the beach or by the pool, so I tend to go for slightly less intense books during this season. Don’t get me wrong, there are still some thriller-ish books on my summer reading list, but there’s a lot more that are not thrillers. (There are also a couple of books that aren’t officially released yet, but they’re still on my list for summer, since they’re both released in the summer months.)
Now, I’ve already finished at least one of these, and I just started The Last Thing He Told Me (which I’ve been waiting for at the library for a while.) And most summers I like to re-read Beautiful Ruins, which is not on the list, but I didn’t do it last year. Most of these are newer, so hopefully they’ll be good additions to your summer reading list, if you’re looking for more to read!
