Last weekend for the Mississippi State vs. Alabama game, S and I were lucky enough to get to check out SEC Nation as VIPs. While we were sad about the outcome of the game, we sure did have a blast watching the show from set (and avoiding the crazy crowd of fans that came out for the show, too.) I’m always proud of to be a Bulldog, but sometimes they just don’t show up for the game. We were supposed to have a pleasantly cool game day, which turned out to be pretty warm instead, and we all ended up carrying our jackets and searching for shade throughout the day. Luckily, once the sun went down, it felt like fall again.
This tweed moto jacket is a favorite that I picked up last winter from Banana Republic, but I love the classic cut that I can dress up or keep casual. It’s not too heavy, so it’s perfect for days when it’s not going to get extremely cool out. Paired with my favorite team tee that I picked up at Maroon & Co., it makes for a comfy and cute game day look that I’d definitely wear again.
We had a blast at SEC Nation, as well as shooting these photos on the Drill Field. Our alma mater has such a gorgeous campus…plus this was right nearby where S proposed to me just a few summers ago.
I hear the SEC Nation crew is making their way to South Carolina this weekend–if you’re an SEC fan, I’d recommend getting out there next time they’re in your town. They sure do put on a good show.
