What I love about face mist…
Another beauty & skincare trend that’s everywhere lately is the face mist. And I’ve got to tell you that I’m a big fan! I love the light moisture you get from a quick spritz, and they’re oh-so-refreshing…especially if you’re traveling. (I keep a little travel-size spritz bottle of my current favorite mist in my bag to use on the go, too.) There are so many different beauty mists now that they’ve been around for a little while. They cover everything: moisturizing, makeup setting, refreshing, and multi-purpose. Many of the mists I’ve tried quite can be used on clean skin as a quick treatment AND as a makeup setting spray. So, here are a few of my favorites…
Pur Cosmetics Miracle Mist
This one is hydrating, refreshing, and full of all kinds of good vitamins and things that are good for your skin. I love to put it on first thing in the morning on days when I’m not wearing makeup. It helps wake up my skin and keep it hydrated throughout the day. Of course, Miracle Mist is one of those that does double-duty and is a great make-up setting spray!
Cosmedix Mystic
This was the first beauty mist that I ever got my hands on, and I’ve had a bottle of it around ever since (it’s been over a year!) Mystic is hydrating, full of antioxidants, and has ingredients to help with breakouts. It’s a staple in my mist “collection,” and a great refresher. I drop a bottle of Mystic in my carry-on when I fly to use when I need it. This helps keep my skin from going crazy during long travel days.
Pixi Beauty Vitamin Wakeup Mist, Hydrating Milky Mist, Makeup Fixing Mist, and Glow Mist
The great thing about Pixi’s face mists is just how that you can use each one at a different point in the day, if you want to stock up on all four. Or, you can pick the one that fits your needs. I’m not sure that I can pick a favorite out of this little group: I love using the Vitamin Wakeup Mist right after washing my face in the morning, the Milky Mist is super hydrating, the Makeup Fixing Mist is great for topping off your makeup, and the Glow Mist gives your skin a bright, dewy finish. I can say that I probably use the Vitamin Wake Up and Milky Mist the most, but they’re all pretty great!
